On a personal note, I have to say this was one of the best Christmas/New Years ever for me, as I became engaged to my wonderful girlfriend, Brooke. Probably won't actually get married until '04, but that's okay. I surprised her with the ring on Christmas Eve, so it was definitely a moment to remember!

Well, on to the updates:For all users, the current Lick of the Week is posted. This is a fun one to play, a diminished arpeggio using economy picking, in the style of Yngwie Malmsteen or Uli Roth. Since I have been spending a lot of time developing the new format lessons, I will (finally) be getting the 3rd in the Basics of Jazz series, focusing on extended chords, up in the The Premium Members Area.
