Welcome to GuitarlessonOnline.com!

Hey Everybody,

Hello again from your host here at GLOL. As always, I want to thank everyone who has signed up, and especially the Premium Members. You are the ones who keep this site going. To date, over 2,300 people have signed up with GLOL, learning from the free and Premium Level lessons. If you are not currently a Premium Member, Sign Up Now!! The Premium area is growing every month with new lessons, and the free area is also growing, with the Lick of the Week, articles from Jamey Andreas of GuitarPrinciples, and more. The new beginners lessons have been posted (Finally!!), and you can find them in the free lessons area, and also in the current lesson listing. You can also access the menu for the new lessons here. These lessons will take as much as 3-6 minutes to download, even with hi-speed connection, but they are well worth the wait. If the video does not play, the lesson is not fully downloaded. Wait for the globe to stop turning if you are using Internet Explorer. These lessons, and all future lessons on the site, will require the FlashPlayer6. If you need free flash player upgrade, go to Macromedia.com .

Well, on to the updates:For all users, the current Lick of the Week is posted. This is a cool fast repeating lick, in the style of Michael Schenker or Neil Schon. As I mentioned before, the new beginners lessons are also posted. For the Premium Members, the 3rd lesson in the Basics of Jazz series is up, teaching 13th and 9th chords. Also posted is the 3rd Theory Basics lesson, wheer we will learn about building diatonic chord progressions. These are located in the current lesson menu. Posting later this month for Premium Members will be the first in a series of lessons on Acoustic Fingerpicking. Sorry to be running a bit behind on that one. As always, please email me with ideas or requests, or if you have any other questions. I have received many emails from people, some with a few suggestions I will be implementing over time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. If you are not already a Premium Subscriber, consider the benefits:For about the cost of a months worth of private lessons, you get 1 years access to literally hours and hours of real time video and multimedia lessons, with hundreds of exercises, riffs, licks, and more in a wide variety of popular guitar styles- acoustic, blues, rock lead and rhythm, country, and jazz. For more info, click here.

And now, signing up is even easier: $9.95/mo, $29.95/3 mo, or $59.95/yr.! These are great rates just for what is currently available as of today! But with more lessons added monthly, the value of your subscription will increase over time! All 1 year subscriptions are renewable for $29.95/yr. Also, the complete six-part beginners series is available for only $14.95 for unlimited term.

If you would prefer the lessons on CD-ROM, the Beginners disc is available for $17.95 and Intermediate level is $19.95. This includes S&H. Intermediate Vol. 2 will be available soon! Order directly from the site here, or email me to request the CD's by mail.

On a personal note, I mentioned last month that I became engaged to Brooke. Well, we have decided to set the date this year, and are looking at sometime this summer! I am truly excited about that!

As far as the band goes, looks like we are replacing our singer. We did a months worth of gigs as a 3 piece, with yours truly handling most of the vocals. It was a chore to get 3 sets of material together that I could sing and play, but we pulled it off. I am glad to be getting someone new in, though. Nathan has a fantastic voice. ESP really works best as a 4 piece, and we are now poised to sound better that ever Check out the ESP website: www.ESPROCKS.com

Wrestling News: Watched Japanese Hardcore Wrestling III- I actually thought the last one was better. Hoping to pick up an MLW tape this month. Also, tonight is the WWA PPV, with Sting v. Lex Luger. I admit it, I am a serious mark for Pro Wrestling!! Check out all the latest wrestling news at 1Wrestling.com . The next UFC card should be great, coming up later this month!

That's about all for now! Please email me with thoughts or suggestions on the site, and remember, "Keep Practicing".
