Happy New Year! 2001 was quite a year in so many ways. Personally and professionally, it was one of the most significant years of my life. The launching of this website certainly has consumed all of my creative and artstic efforts. The band , ESP, has been working more than ever. And my private students are all doing quite well. I am currently teaching 40 students/week at Corson Music in Urbana, IL. As
far as updates to the site go, nearly all the flash lessons have
been updated with this controller : This allows you to have maximum control over which part of the lesson to view, and allows you to easily watch a small segment many times over, as well as making it very simple to stop the lesson and view or print out single page. With all updating completed for now, I will once again be creating new lessons for the members area. Coming later this month will be a lesson on power chords. While they are relatively simple to execute, power chords are one of the most frequently requested topics. Watch for this lesson by middle of the month. Also watch for lessons on theory and intermediate and advanced rock techniques. I am pleased to announce that we will now be posting columns by Jamey Andreas of Guitar Principles.com. He offers some really good insight into practicing and developing proper technique. Check out the first one here!
